TTRSA have worked with a number of high profile employers to review traffic management internally within their sites, including servicing and parking arrangements, as part of meeting their duties under prevailing Health and Safety Legislation including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) 2007 to 2016. Whilst such commissions are bespoke, our typical approach would include:
- Reviewing existing traffic and access related policies, procedures and practices;
- Auditing the specific site to identify traffic related safety hazards;
- Reviewing any changes proposed to the site, including for example, staff numbers, shifts, production locations and processes etc.; and,
- Making recommendations to eliminate or mitigate the identified traffic related safety hazards.
TTRSA have also undertaken similar studies where business operations are split across sites requiring access via the public road network.
